    Prantic Unnayan Society are our implementing partners on the ground in Bangladesh. We work closely with them to deliver quality education in the Rohingya refugee camps.

    Prantic Unnayan Society was established in 1998 to assist vulnerable women and children living in urban and rural areas in Bangladesh.

  • OBAT Helpers USA

    OBAT Helpers USA are a project partner facilitating relations with the on-ground project partner and providing project support and guidance.

    OBAT Helpers is a non-profit organisation committed to providing aid, support, education and economic empowerment to displaced, stranded and refugee populations residing in camps in Bangladesh.

  • Books Unbound

    Books Unbound’s mission is “education through cartoonization” - they design simple, relatable, and culturally sensitive informal learning materials for refugee communities.

    We work with Books Unbound to provide additional learning opportunities for our students. Maiya School students currently attend two classes a week led by Books Unbound materials, teaching them life skills and basic health practices, and encouraging creativity, innovation, and community-based work.

  • Wierd Women

    Wierd Women is a collective that aims to create and promote events, safe spaces and initiatives for women to reach their full potential and connect to their community.

    10% of profits from all Wierd Women events and initiatives go to Maiya School.

  • Social Shifters

    Social Shifters awarded the SDG 10 Reduced Inequalities Award to Maiya School under the 2023 Global Innovation Challenge.

    Social Shifters is an international charity helping the next generation of young leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs to tackle the world’s most pressing social and environmental issues in new ways.
